Sentosa wedding

My gf is thinking of holding her wedding dinner at Rasa Sentosa Hotel… As I was on MC the 2nd day and she would be driving, I accompanied her to check out the packages they can offer.

The place is really romantic, if the dinner is outdoor.. However, as outdoor menu would be international cuisine, they can only consider indoor menus for the function room to suit the old people. To me, marriage should be between the 2 lovely people who are getting married, so why compromise to suit others.. And it’s something different from being so traditional as well.. Luckily, my gf’s father has already changed his mind of opposing at Sentosa as the first thought was inconvenience. True that it’s not convenient, but I think friends and relatives who truly want to wish them and share their joy would not mind the venue. (And that can save the couple money for people who do not want to come, kekeke)

Anyway, per dinner cost is not as ex as I thought to be at that place. Abt 700plus.. The thing is that my gf is holding 40 dinners!! That is really a lot, and I think it would be reduced at the end of the confirmation bah.. Another thing is dunno if the food is nice.. but I really hope it would be this place, as it is really nice environment..

After the talk, we went to nearby for a walk, and talking about the drown incident that happened recently.. Walking along the wet sand at the seaside, we were talking about how harmless the sea looks with the hidden currents that can sweep your life away.. Another issue is that the drowning incidents that happened several times here can be avoided and reduced, as the management has actually tried to educate and implement safe measures, but in the end, it’s still up to individual’s stubbornness and ignorance.

It was a hot day, my poor gf had to apply sunblock everywhere on her before accompanying me for a walk, as she did not want to have unbalanced skin tone on her ROM day.. hahaha, poor thing, so many things to take care before the big day..

I bumped into my ex-colleague who brought his children with his sister and her kids to the beach.. He had taken leave for them.. Quite a dear sight and amazing as I only heard and witnessed that he was a hard-core gambler. Maybe everyone still has their soft side no matter how bad each can be..

As I had not taken breakfast and lunch, and it was 3pm plus, we decided to walk to the nearby Sakae Sushi. Eating, chatting, playing with my phone made time fly past fast.. We had to forgo the luge as my gf had to meet her cousin at her grandma’s place.

Nevertheless, it was a pleasant day for me already..
