Let’s talk abt the most happening bday gathering this month – Ps’ and Eng’s bday gathering.. as their birthdates were some days apart, we decided to have it in between their bday date.

In the first place, the dinner was supposed to be a simple, small and private one. Then it ballooned to a big one, invitation extended to even new member of HE... In all, there were abt 13pple – Irene and uncle, eng and jian tu, me, ada and jovin, ps and san san, Frederick and his wife, terrie and gary.. Gary is really one funny guy as he expressed disgust at the rainbow bread he came upon the ice-cream man had and how he and Frederick were pointing and starring at the guy in the pink sports car.. wahahaha..
When we reached Ikoi, san san and some others were already there and knowing san san, she already had sake served. Latecomers were not spared as she proceeded to order beer.. And then I saw one bottle of red wine and white wine chilling beside my seat.. Oh no, I thot, not another drinking session and the money L
Nevertheless, we had fun ordering lots of food as it was supposed to be a buffet.. salmon sashimi, tempura prawn, salmon sashimi, tempura everything… and then of course cheers here and there, regardless of the reasons – bday to ps, bday to eng, so long never see you, first time see you… Faint…And then more alcohol ordered… a very very nice sake that had to be served at 6 degree Celsius. And then brandy bought by san san’s husband from France.. We were watching the pouring from bulging eyes.. Cannot be wah…
The funny thing is that our table pple were too innocent to have finished the one glass concentrated! Then san san said must have 2nd toast, and we went nonono, and we even tried to hide the glasses, but still.. Ps whispered behind me “pour green tea, pour green tea”. I do not know if it was a mistake, bec after pouring some green tea, my glass was full to the brim, and I had to finish everything still, and even more volume compared to the first glass.. EEEEEEE…
If san san had not been the VIP of the restaurant, I think we would all have been thrown out. The restaurant was small enough, and with our party, all eyes were on us that night.. irritated ones, envious ones, curious ones… That’s too bad… Our dear chef, also drank from his beer from times to times… ahahahaha..
Finally, we had the 2 nice mini cakes and left for the ktv scheduled. Our usual gang with jovin and gary as honored guests.. Gary sang 2-3 ang mo songs.. Cheers to his bravery! Had 2 more drinks, and everyone was dead tired that even though we started at 10pm and we could sing till 4am, we all left ard 130am with dried sore throats (due to all the screaming at the jap restaurant and screeching at ktv, and the alcohol) and bloated stomachs.
The taxi fare home, the ktv spending and the jap restaurant cost = faint faint faint
I got stomach burn… And of course, I did not pass my medical check up that was scheduled in the next few hours… =P
