Luv'ee: Birthdays again…

Just celebrated another 2 frds’ bday.. Shudi and Xingyan with Meiying.. my sec sch military band mates… So long frdship and think about it, we were only eca mates and not close frds or best frds to maintain the long frdship.. And it's quite sad to think that this is the last year that we will have full attendance bday celebration. After this, we would have to wait for Shudi for 3 yrs to come back from London, and IF she comes back...

Anyway, it was 2 different days.. The first one was for Shudi.. We went to this restaurant at Boat Quay. Very good! Strongly recommended.. You are supposed to cook the raw meat (chicken and steak) yourself. We were having 2nd thots in the first place… What if the meat is not fully cooked.. What if the food is not nice.. The price is not that cheap.. but it was really worth the price.. Delicious! Yum yum yum…

Then we went for dessert at Esplanade. Finally I have a chance to go Mex Brenner ( I think I did not have the correct spelling, but whatever). We tried the chocolate fondue, the melting your own chocolate drink, and the ice chocolate drink.. The best is actually the last one.. And I confirm plus double chop chop I really dun like white chocolate. Dark chocolate – BEST! But I think chocolate fondue is becoming boring..

I also bumped into my poly mates outside the shop – Galen and Galvin! Galen is back in Spore for a short vacation till Sep and he will be back in London for his study. Galvin is now with a media house and he definitely looks so much more matured and yes, thinner now.. Galen is still as cute as ever.. though with his bruised eye. Hey mate, go easy k…

2 weeks later, which was last Friday, we celebrated Xingyan’s bday celebration.. Asian Kitchen at Citylink. First time there, but the food is not bad~ And I just like the drink, my sour plum in soda, woa… missing it already.. Xy and Sd had the noodles which they said was nice, while MY and I had fried rice, which I think was not bad too (though MY thot it was not salty enough). We had the 小笼包, and vegetables.. thumb up too..

Then we went to check out MY’s sport shoes, and ended up buying giraffe earrings for XY.. This teacher is funny ger, I can never visualize her as a teacher.. too young to be taken seriously, and honestly, constantly bullied by her colleagues..

Wanted to have coffee at Starbucks at Cityhall, but could not find any seat L Fri nite is SOOOOOOO FFFFFFFUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLL…. XY then suggested another café, which was the other side from Starbucks.. I forgot the name, but started with M something… A lot of pple had their cakes, we ordered one tiramisu for the bday ger, it was okay for me bec I do not like tiramisu.. The gers ordered moca freeze and something coffee.. Bec the café’s blender is SPOILT, I cannot have what I wanted to order, I think it was some fruit thing blended.. so I had to settle for moca freeze.. And when it came, Starbucks~ I miss u a lot~

It was not that bad, but it was not that nice too, u know what I mean? The special thing is that it is served in martini cup, so looks unique! As for the taste, I think it tastes funny. Maybe I am not that adaptable to poor taste, ahahaha.. The ice-creams in the black bowl is yummy... except for the passion fruit.. really sour.. But two thumbs up for the mango flavour.. The white one is lime... ok, but i think is xingyan's favourite... The ice-cream is like sorbet.. but then thicker than sorbet, but not as thick as ice-cream...
